Decision Making

We all make decisions everyday of our life - from what to have for breakfast to whether to go to university to choosing a career, and these decisions  can affect our later life. I am going to list some important thing to conciser when making a decision.

  1. Think about the pros and cons. What will you gain from the decision? What could you lose? What is putting you off? What will you be happiest doing?
  2. Think about your friends and family. How could this decision affect them?
  3. Speak and get other opinions. They could make a point that you hadn't thought about which could make it loads easier for you. Even if you don't follow their advice in the end it is defiantly worth talking to them.

There are more detailed lists on the internet, however these three are the ones which I have found most valuable to me.
